The trajan bust in marble represents one of the emperors most illustrious in Roman history, inspired by the museum collection Capitolines of Rome.

Marcus Ulpius Nerva Trajan was the emperor who brought Rome to its maximum territorial extension. N oto for his courage, for his reforms and for his military victories, is nicknamed the legendary emperor.

Historical Curiosities

Trajan, who reigned from 98 to 117 AD, went down in history for being one of the most just and beloved emperors. He managed to make himself appreciated by everyone, both the people and the senate, forbecause he was attentive to the conditions of his citizens for whom he implemented important social and political reforms.  The era of Trajan is known to historians as the happiest era of imperial history, therefore it is defined "Golden Age".

Under his government, the Roman Empire reached its maximum territorial extension, with the annexation of Dacia (present-day Romania). In addition to his military conquests, Trajan promoted public works of great importance such as the Trajan's Column, still visible today in Rome, which celebrates his victories.

Maintenance

The marble sculpture must be cleaned regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust that settles on the surface. It is advisable to avoid the use of aggressive chemical detergents which could damage the work.
