The Two-headed snake ring is made of 925 silver, and finished with a fine plating of 18K gold, which gives brightness and refinement . The original jewel was found in Pompeii and dates back to the 1st century BC.

It is perfect for those who want to wear a piece that recalls the ancient Roman tradition.  The snake is a symbol of regeneration and protection, and wraps the finger in a sinuous and captivating embrace. The presence of two heads added further symbolic power, representing not only regeneration, but also duality, such as good and evil or life and death.

The combination of gold and silver makes it suitable for both casual and formal looks, always giving a touch of uniqueness.

Historical Curiosities

In Roman religion, the serpent-shaped Genius was the guardian spirit benevolent of the fate of families but also of individuals. In ancient Rome, the serpent was a highly symbolic figure, associated with protection and healing.

In particular, snake-shaped jewelry was very popular in Pompeii, used both as an ornament and as a protective amulet. The serpent was closely linked to the figure of Asclepius, the god of medicine, and wearing a ring with this shape meant invoking divine protection and healing. Snake-themed jewelry was not only fashion, but also talismans against the evil eye and other negative forces.
